March's Mom of the Month

Stephanie and her sweet sidekicks, have been dedicated Stroller Striders since April of 2015. They regularly attend classes and on top of that Stephanie has been doing our evening Body Back classes for the last few months! If you want to see a super-strong mama, look no further than Stephanie!

Stephanie is extremely hard working and is an inspiration to everyone around her. She has made great strides in fitness, motherhood, and life, and we are so thankful that she is an integral part of Our Village!

Join us in congratulating Stephanie and read on to get to know her a little better!

Structural engineer. I currently work part time on Mondays and Thursdays.

What was your childhood ambition?
To be an author or an astronaut

What does motherhood mean to you?
It means the world. I love my little humans :)

What is the furthest you have been from home?? Australia. I studied abroad in Perth for a semester.

What has FIT4MOM and Stroller Strides done for you (or meant to you)?
Stroller Strides is the first workout I have ever stuck with! I kept coming to get out of the house but I have developed a love for exercise. I also love Body Back! Body Back got me back in shape after baby 2. It also encouraged me to cook healthier meals so my whole family is healthier!

What is your favorite exercise?

What is your proudest moment?
Not sure what MY proudest moment is but the proudest I felt as a mom was when Ansley rolled over the first time. I took four videos and sent them to our family and friends. I was so proud of her! Not sure why but I guess it was just the first time she really did a skill.

What are three of your favorite things (besides your family!)?
Travel, food, and reality TV (The Amazing Race and Big Brother)

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us or makes you unique.
I love thrill seeking type experiences. I've been skydiving in Australia and paragliding in Switzerland.

If we asked your spouse what they think your best qualities are, what would they say? He said "your dedication to our family, kind heart, and you laugh at my jokes"

What advice would you give to moms looking to get back into shape? Find something that you love so you will stick with it. Also, it's ok if you can't do it all just get out and do what you can!
